We have been progressing a comprehensive attic extension project in Hampton Hill over the past three months and the client is moving back in this weekend! Great job by the builders Artifex whom this is our first time working with,
Suddenly a few months has passed by with no posts! Anyway it has been busy as from the previous post showing the steelwork it now looks like this four months later! We had Will Scott come and photograph this on a sunny day in November and got some fantastic shots.
Works have been progressing very well, blessed by good weather, at Hampton Hill with the southern yellow pine roof structure complete and upstands being formed for the glazed roof along with wood fibre insulation placement.
Our staircase has been installed along with the continuous oak handrail and metal black spindles. To say we are pleased would be a massive understatement, the carpenter has done an absolutely fantastic job!
Foundations complete in section, side walls being built up with exposed white concrete bricks whilst the old kitchen is being demolished. We have also been looking at lime mortar samples following the arrival of our tudor red bricks for the rear facade.
